Our focus is you: your business objectives and your people ... and how to enhance their performance and efficiency to create a positive impact on your business.
What is the company's history and ownership ?
Anfield Inc started up in 2001 as a center of excellence helping organizations achieve performance goals through training and technology. With a solid, world-class track record of over 15 years, Anfield has grown into a powerhouse of consultative services, custom content development, talent management, and performance improvement solutions. We provide a full spectrum of training delivery solutions including onboarding, leadership and management, sales and channel partners, HR, compliance, process re-engineering, and more.
For designations on federal or state contracts, Anfield is a woman/veteran-owned, privately held business.
Who do you work with ?
Our customers include mid-sized organizations through to some of the world's leading businesses. We bring a consultative approach to working with clients across a wide range of industries and global markets. Our team has developed and delivered thousands of hours of bespoked learning for clients across commercial, public, and federal sectors. We are committed to learning and performance development supporting a diverse set of customers in numerous industries, including telecommunications, technology, healthcare, financial, transportation, food service and hospitality, software, hardware, manufacturing, trade associations, and more.
How do you handle scaling up or down ? Do you use contract staff ?
Anfield has full-time, in-house development and delivery staff. Occasionally, Anfield must scale operations to support the needs of our clients. But over the years and given our global spread, Anfield has built up an extensive worldwide network of contract talent that understand and appreciate the need for collaboration and respect that we ask of our employees. So as needed to support the needs of our clients, we occasionally scale our operations and call on contract talent for their unique experience or expertise.
To ensure that the Anfield ‘management level of touch’ is in every project, each project is assigned internal Anfield project / account management staff that are responsible for managing scaled up operations and delivering the highest quality results to meet customer objectives. Keeping all employees engaged, excited, and productive in global, often virtual projects, is vital to ensuring customer satisfaction and that projects are brought in on time and to budget.
What development tools and technology do you use ?
Actually, we are quite product agnostic. We work with our clients to recommend the best tool to fit the solution or use their own in-house tools and technology framework. Commonly used tools include Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, Brainshark, Camtasia Studio, iSpring Presenter, PowerPoint, Aftereffects, and Dreamweaver.
But here’s another reason why we are product agnostic. There is no doubt that the eLearning and corporate training industry is rapidly evolving due to technology and social changes in learning. As content becomes more and more interactive at the point of need, increasingly learners are using mobile devices and social platforms to access courses and the knowledge the need. As a consequence, we make sure that our professional instructional designers and developers stay current with the rapidly changing tools and technologies in our business.
What is your development process ?
We leverage knowledge from specific methodologies for instructional design, like ADDIE, PCL, SAM, and other alternative, agile development-based methodologies. Primarily, we use a variation of the ADDIE and SAM models.
What is your project management process ?
Anfield project managers lead by first, having a good understanding of instructional design; second, establishing good communication with both internal and external team members; and third, following the Anfield project management process: an eight-phase process with a proven series of actions to reach desired results. In addition, we aim for three goals with each and every project: (1) be on TIME, (2) come in on BUDGET, and (3) deliver to the expected QUALITY.
The Anfield Eight-Phase Process
1. Business Development: Research and qualify the opportunity → Statement of Work
2. Discovery: Review source materials, identify learner requirements, collaborate with SMEs
3. Engagement Management: Assign resources, set milestones for the project, establish communication plans → Project Plan
4. Design: Ensure organizational goals and learning objectives are being met, create high-level content outline → Design Document
5. Development: Complete course materials with iterative client review
6. Implementation: Deliver finished product → Final Sign-Off
7. Maintenance: Identify support needs, review lessons learned, discuss future needs
8. Evaluation: Acquire and assess client feedback (performance improvements, learning outcome results and/or stakeholder satisfaction)
Choosing a vendor-partner is not a casual decision. Why should we consider you ?
We made a business commitment over 15 years ago to always strive to be strategic partners with our customers. This means working closely with our customers to understand their business, their plans, and their objectives. This partnership helps us be a full-service vendor-partner…one with broad capabilities, flexibility, and understanding to meet their exact needs and business objectives.
We are proud of the fact that our strategic partnerships are not casual relationships, and that these relationships are successful and on-going. Because customers determine our success, we always work to ensure that our services and products contribute to the organization’s progress.
Do you offer global support ?
Anfield has a global delivery footprint. We provide training outsourcing and performance consultancy in the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. We have developed and delivered content in multiple languages to serve an internationally distributed global audience. Our global reach, strategic focus, speed, and scale are unmatched.
What learning management systems do you use ? Do you work with any cloud-based systems ?
Today, many mid-size to large companies track and manage training in their existing learning management system (LMS). There are hundreds of LMS in the market. Anfield designed and developed to the specifications and limitations of each client’s LMS for 15 years, adapting development to ensure compatibility. Increasingly, with so much information available from multiple sources in the cloud, organizations are moving to cloud based LMS and knowledge management, and we are moving with them. This will ensure anywhere / anytime learning, rich and context-aware content, and personalized (adaptive) learning.
At the end of the day, we believe that the only valid indicator of learning success is how performance is changed and improved, and globally, organizations are beginning to recognize this. We can work with you to find the relevant indicators in your organization of success to recognize performance improvement and inform the business.
Do you create to mobile platforms ?
Yes we do, because we live in a multi-device world and eLearning needs to work everywhere: desktop, tablet, smartphone -- wherever! And, yes we create to multi-device platforms because mobile learning facilitates point of need and self-directed learning. Per each customer’s requirements, we combine high quality, interactive content with robust and scalable technology to deliver web-based solutions that will work everywhere and respond intelligently to whatever the learner’s device.
Do you offer certification and qualification programmes ?
Certification programs are never built alone; it always takes a team. Anfield works directly with clients to develop effective curriculum-based certification and qualification programs. As content developers and instructional designers, we work together with our clients SMEs, L&D, IT, and end users to design or rebuild certification programs and courseware.
What information do you need to give me a proposal ?
The first thing we want to uncover is what performance problem you need to solve (what is the real need for training)…and then explore if TRAINING is really part of the solution. Once that is determined, we will set up a meeting with you so we can fully understand your requirements and learning objectives to develop a proposal. Some of the information we need to develop a proposal include answers to questions like:
• What learning challenges need to be addressed? How do you envision training will improve the performance of the learners?
• What are your business objectives and how will training help reach these goals?
• Who is the end user of the training?
• What are your learning objectives?
• Do you have content?
• What features and functionality do you want? Do you require basic or complex functionality?
• What, if any, are your technical and design requirements?
• What are your requirements for budget and delivery dates?
• Who is your point of contact should we have any further questions about the proposal?
